Meet the Candidates held tonight Judd Morse Staff Writer Ada — The Pontotoc County Farm Bureau is holding a “Meet the Candidates” forum tonight at 6 p.m., in the North Room of Pontotoc County Agri-plex. Joe D. West will be master of ceremonies. The three candidates for District 25 State House of Representatives seat (Republican incumbent Todd Thomsen, Democrat challenger Gary Starns, and Democrat challenger Darrell Nemecek) will be in attendance. Also slated to appear are candidates for the office of Pontotoc County sheriff (challenger John Christian and incumbent Pete Peterson), along with Pontotoc County Commissioner for District 2 (incumbent Carl Wages, challenger Harvey Wilson, and challenger Danny Davis).
