Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Wednesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Belarus have common interests and concerns on regional and international issues. According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mottaki made the remarks in a meeting with the new Belarus Ambassador to Tehran Victor Rybak. At the meeting, the ambassador submitted a copy of his credentials to Mottaki. The two officials said that they are determined to broaden ties between the two countries which could lead to a promising prospects in bilateral ties, he said. Both countries are now seeking to expand solidarity with developing countries, he said adding that the two countries have common interests and concerns on regional and international developments.
