Stephen A. Martino

STRATHAM — Stephen August Martino, 58, formerly of Portland, Maine, died Saturday, July 19, 2008, at his home in Stratham, following a brief illness. He was born on April 6, 1950, in Plainfield, N.J., a son of August S. and Hazel M. (Miller) Martino. Stephen attended schools in Cranford, N.J., in his early years and graduated from Portland (Maine) High School in 1968. He graduated from University of Maine, Orono in 1972, where he received a bachelor's degree in political science. He was predeceased by a sister, Linda Lee Martino; his parents, August S. Martino and Hazel M. Martino; and a niece, Greta L. Laufenburger. He is survived by his sister, Patricia (Martino) Laufenburger Marshall, and her husband Douglas of Rochester, Minn.; and nephews, Ryan A.
