The storm's center is about 110 miles from the city, which is already being drenched by heavy downpours. Officials are worried that levees in the Rio Grande Valley won't be able to stand up to the hurricane. WASHINGTON (AP) - Lawmakers appear to agree on one thing -- they want to talk about high oil prices. The Senate voted 94-0 to debate legislation to curb speculation in oil markets. But Republicans want to offer an amendment for offshore drilling and a GOP filibuster of the bill seems likely.
