KUALA LUMPUR: Mohd Asyraf Azan scored his second upset win to qualify for the main draw of the CIMB Malaysian Open squash championships at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil yesterday. The Malaysian, who upset second seed Amr Swelim of Egypt in the first round on Monday, came back from a set down to beat joint-fifth seed Ryan Cuskelly of Australia 6-11, 11-1, 11-9, 15-17, 11-8 in 86 minutes. Asyraf, who will play in today’s main draw of the Malaysian Open for the first time, will face team-mate and second seed Ong Beng Hee in the first round. Asyraf was delighted to have beaten two higher-ranked players en route to making the cut for the main draw. “I will give my best against Beng Hee although it will be tough to beat him,” said Asyraf.
