Southland Conference Television Network Debuts In September

The Network will air over 35 broadcasts starting in September, including three Texas State football games. The Southland Conference announced that the league will televise three Texas State football games as part of the league's new venture in college sports television. Houston - - A new venture in college sports television begins in 2008 as the Southland Conference Television Network debuts with over 35 broadcasts on television stations and cable systems in the league's three-state geographic region. The package includes three Texas State football games during 2008. The first televised game will be Oct. 4 when the Bobcats play host to Texas Southern.
