Let's be honest, part of the reason I don't wear a helmet when I ride is they're god awful ugly. All of them. Save maybe Bern helmets. The other reason I don't wear a helmet, currently, is my bike got stolen last week. In a drunken stupor I locked it up to....nothing. Came out of the bar. Gone. Anybody see as sweet red Bianchi in The Mission, it's mine. I blame myself, though. But back to the subject at hand, the dearth of good looking helmets. As I wrote, there are basically no good looking helmets on the market here in the U.S. You either get Zen about it and accept you'll look like an idiot, or you go helmetless. Because, again, number one rule of urban biking is looking good.
