King’s Web site has thorough answer

On July 5, the Register printed an editorial attacking me for my "no" vote on H.R. 6331, which severely cut some seniors' Medicare benefits. On July 11, the Register appropriately printed a piece I wrote explaining my position. Clearly upset with my response, the Register fired back, printing yet another attack piece in its July 16 paper. This time, however, the paper refused me the opportunity to correct the record with another op-ed piece. Instead, it was suggested that I respond in this letter to the editor - a piece restricted to one-half the length of the editorial used to attack me.
