Dear Senator Obama, On August 28, you will be accepting the Democratic nomination at Mile High Stadium in Denver. I am very cognizant of the fact that your acceptance speech will take place on the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech. I am certain that your speech will be stirring and will represent a proud moment for this country and for those of us dedicated to civil rights in this country. There is no doubt in my mind that your campaign, a campaign I have personally witness bring together blacks and whites in ways I have never seen before, represents a continuation of the young Martin Luther King's struggle and dreams.
