Associated Press - July 22, 2008 10:44 AM ET GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - Every dog has its day but dogs in Great Falls will have to wait a little longer. It was expected the city would open the gates to its first dog park this summer. However, it was raining cats and dogs in May and there wasn't enough time to seed the grass, which will delay the official opening to next year. But the dog park will open for a one-week sneak preview Aug. 6 at noon. The park will be open from dawn to dusk until Aug. 13. The city commission approved the dog park last December.
