Posted to the web 22 July 2008 Rufaro Chipande Harare THE Jibilika dance festival preliminaries held in the Midlands Province over the weekend were a big flop and a massive disappointment to the audience, contestants and organisers. There was a low turnout and the programme only kicked off three hours late, amid confusion on how the event was supposed to take off. In an interview the director of Jibilika dance festival Plot Mhako said the show was not properly organised. "We were not able to advertise this event due to financial constraints and poor communication between ourselves. "I sent one of our organisers to come and market us here in Gweru, but he failed to do so. This show was a bit disappointing and it is not what we expected. We hope to have a better show next time."
