(LANCASTER, CA) - The JetHawks bullpen and defense, which had been so strong over the course of their six game winning streak, finally broke down Monday night in Adelanto. Lancaster committed two errors in the sixth inning to help stake High Desert to four runs. That sparked the Mavericks to an 11-5 win, ending the JetHawks streak. Lancaster falls back into a tie for first place with Rancho Cucamonga with a second half record of 17-13. Lancaster took the lead early as they continued to hit home runs in Adelanto. Jon Still hit a two-run blast in the opening inning to give Lancaster the lead. Still homered in each game of the series.
