Paul D. Miller aka Dj Spooky Lecture in Berlin The latest publication of conceptual artist, writer and musician Paul D. Miller is called Sound Unbound and is about the remix of things - how music, art, and literature have blurred the lines between what an artist can do and what a composer can create. The book features essays from people as diverse as Jonathan Lethem, Steve Reich, Hans Ulrich Obrist and Bruce Sterling with an introduction by Boing Boing mastermind Cory Doctorow. The mix CD that accompanies this book features Nam Jun Paik, the Dada Movement, John Cage, Sonic Youth, and many other examples of avant-garde music.
