Press-Gazette • July 22, 2008 BELOIT — Joe White had three hits and drove in three runs to pace Wisconsin's 15-hit attack and the Timber Rattlers defeated the Beloit Snappers 12-6 Monday at Pohlman Field. All 10 Timber Rattlers who went to the plate had at least one hit. The Rattlers (7-23 second half, 38-58 overall) also took advantage of eight walks issued by Beloit pitching. Wisconsin starter and winner Edward Paredes recovered from a rocky start. He allowed hits to the first four Beloit hitters he faced and the Snappers grabbed a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. The Rattlers scored single runs in the third and fourth innings, then pulled ahead to stay with six runs in the fifth inning off of three Beloit pitchers.
