AIP's statute to be discussed in Rabat next week -- Kuwaiti MP

By Talal Al-Kayed (with photos) DAMASCUS, July 22 (KUNA) -- The Arab Interim Parliament (AIP) will continue to discuss its internal statute during its meeting in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, next week, said Kuwaiti MP and AIP member Ali Al-Diqbasi on Tuesday. Al-Diqbasi was speaking to KUNA on the sidelines of the meetings of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly's (APA) subcommittee for environment and sustainable development, which aims to plant millions of trees in the continent. "The AIP has survived the bottleneck and has reached a new phase, as it has come closer to completing drafting of its internal statute, which is the main goal for placing the Arab Parliament's work mechanism and through which the Arab people can express their wishes and aspirations," he said.
