First Signing Creeps Closer

Cleveland Browns fans have largely been confident about the team's ability to sign their picks, but that doesn't mean some low-level nail-biting hasn't been starting over the last day or so. The absence of signings may soon be over, as John Taylor reports that TE Martin Rucker is close to inking his deal. While the pace of signings has been glacier-like, at best, the Cleveland Browns should have at least one of their draft picks signed at some point tomorrow. With the key word being "should", of course. According to a member of the CAA team representing fourth-round pick Martin Rucker, the two sides are close to reaching a deal and should reach an official accord at some point tomorrow.
