Beat reporter Kelly Thesier answers Twins fans' questions NEW YORK -- Every ballpark that I visit during the season has its own unique nuances and things that differentiate it from the others. But while I've learned to appreciate all the glitz and glamour of the new parks, it's still something special to visit the classics like Yankee Stadium. That's why this final trip to the old Cathedral is a little bittersweet. Sure, there are the rats and the smells that often accompany an aging ballpark. But it's hard to recreate the feeling that you get walking into the stands or down the tunnel at this stadium. There is an aura that encompasses it, due to the history here and all the great ballplayers that have made Yankee Stadium so special.
