La Jolla Storefront Sells for $6.6M

SAN DIEGO, CA. – Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial has sold a multi-tenant retail building at 7643-7645 Girard Ave. for $6.6 million all cash in La Jolla’s budding design district. The 10,700-sf property includes three antique retailers: Ark Antiques, Pied-e-Terre, and Skolout and Tilghman. The new owner plans to continue for all tenants to stay in the location. The property was sold by Girard Avenue Investments LLC, and was bought by Broadway & 9th LP, a local buyer planning to upgrade and improve the property, which features 100 feet of retail frontage along La Jolla’s Girard Avenue in what has become known as a local mini-interior design district.
