Hattie Robinson, at plus-5, won the women's city dogfight at Bonnie Crest on Thursday. Shirley Roberson and Nancy Wyatt were tied for second at plus-3, followed by Jung gui An and Sarah Lee at plus-3. This week's dogfight will be at Cottonwood on Thursday. Calhoun Foods, Coca-Cola Enterprises and Hyundai will host a free first tee clinic for ages 6-18 on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Gateway. The clinic will be under the instruction of golfing great Lee Elder and former NFL running back and kick returner Eddie Payton. John Sadie, Arthur Hartwell and other golf pros will be assisting. Applications for the clinic can be picked up at any Calhoun Foods location or at Gateway. The celebrity golf tournament will take place on July 28.
