Welwind Energy International Corp. Announces Zhanjiang and Peace River Project Update

SAN DIEGO, July 21, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Welwind Energy International Corp (the "Company") (OTCBB:WWEI) announces Zhanjiang update -- Heavy flooding that has swept through most parts of Southern China recently have caused a delay in Welwind's trip to China. Meetings previously scheduled with Provincial officials have been postponed until today due to the government's focus on relief efforts. The new wave of rainstorms have caused suspended shipping service in the Three Gorges section of the Yangtze River, blocked traffic in cities, delayed flights, destroyed homes, and flooded farmland.
