Photograph: Robin Van Lonkhuijsen/Reuters British pilots dominated yesterday's Red Bull Air Race in Rotterdam, with Paul Bonhomme extending his championship lead after victory at the Dutch port. Bonhomme beat Austrian Hannes Arch, who failed to complete the thrilling head-to-head final, while Steve Jones finished third to record his first podium of the season. Arch was competing against Bonhomme for his first victory when he clipped the top of an air gate and flew off course. "I was just pushing too hard," said Arch. "You don't win if you don't push.
