Toro Rosso's Vettel stepping up to replace retiring Coulthard at Red Bull Germany's Sebastian Vettel will replace the retiring David Coulthard at Red Bull next year, the Formula One team have announced. The 21-year-old, nicknamed 'Baby Schumi' by a German media yearning for a successor to seven times world champion Michael Schumacher, is currently competing for Red Bull's sister team Toro Rosso. He will partner Australian Mark Webber, whose contract was extended earlier this month. 'The decision was always very clear that Sebastian would be joining the team," Red Bull principal Christian Horner told reporters at the German Grand Prix.
