William Gallas is the latest Arsenal player to be targetted by predatory clubs, with both Paris St-Germain and Barcelona looking to prise him from the Emirates for £6m. Gallas, who joined the north Londoners in 2006 as part of the spectacularly messy deal that took Ashley Cole to Chelsea, is 31 and Arsene Wenger may consider £6m a fair price for a player of his age, but it might send out the wrong message if this summer is dominated by the departure of too many of the Gunners' top names. Already this summer Mathieu Flamini, Alexander Hleb and Gilberto Silva have left the Emirates, and Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor are similarly being targetted by other clubs.
