By Claire Middleton Colin Montgomerie's Open started in a storm and ended under a cloud, a miserable 76 leaving him on 18 over par overall and well short of the sort of form that he needs to receive a Ryder Cup call-up. "Not once have I been able to hit a shot I would normally hit," he sighed. "There's nothing positive I can take from the week. I needed to drive better, hit my irons better, chip and putt better.
