‘PPP govt left with no option but to quit’

Karachi President of the newly formed Awami Muslim League Shiekh Rasheed Ahmed has said that the present PPP government has been left with no option but to quit after miserably failing to provide relief to the masses. This was said by him when asked to comment on the present political and economic situation of the country. “If the present rulers did not quit on their own then the masses will topple them,” he commented. Shiekh Rasheed was talking to The News from Lahore after returning from China. When asked that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani has blamed the previous regime for the problems confronting the country, he said: “They (rulers) are unable to solve even their own problems so how could they provide relief to the masses, and now they should go as they have miserably failed”.
