Soriano to start rehab assignment on Monday

Updated: July 20, 2008, 1:36 PM EST 2 comments will begin a rehab assignment on Monday with Chicago's rookie league team in Arizona and is expected to come off the disabled list on Thursday. Soriano has been on the DL since June 12 because of a broken left hand. He took batting practice in Houston on Friday and felt good enough afterward to target a return this week.
