Emily Anne Janda, the most wonderful woman in College Station, is engaged to be married to the greatest teddy bear in College Station, Jack Weldon Monteiro. A fantastic sense of humor will abound in their home! Emily is the daughter of Becky Janda and the late Dr. Mike Janda of Omaha, Nebraska. She is the granddaughter of Betty Carlson of Grand Island, Nebraska and Elsie Janda of Sterling Colorado. Jack is the son of Dr. Leonora Owre and the grandson of Martha Cannon, both of College Station. He is also the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. Alfred Owre of Gig Harbor, Washington. Emily graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska with both her BA & MA and is currently working on her PhD in English at Texas A&M.
