The Millers make the short trip to Dronfield tomorrow evening to take on the oldest team still in existence, Sheffield FC Here are a few facts about them: Sheffield FC were founded in 1857 and are famous for being the world`s oldest team still playing association football. They are also noted for participating in the world's oldest footballing rivalry. Sheffield competed against Hallam in the world's first inter-club match during 1860 - the match is known as the 'Sheffield' or 'Rules' derby. Playing in the Northern Premier League Division One South, which is step four of eight of the National League system, last season they finishing fourth, the team now play at the Bright Finance Stadium in Dronfield, which is the first ground they have ever owned themselves, and are managed by ex Miller, Chris Dolby.
