Teen charged in death of Ohio woman shot on porch July 20, 2008 - 1:03am CLEVELAND (AP) - Cleveland authorities have charged a 17-year-old in the fatal shooting of a woman who was gunned down as she grieved the cancer death of her mother while sitting on her front porch. Authorities say Marcus Hardwick was charged Saturday with aggravated murder. He was being held at a juvenile detention center. Officials won't say if he has an attorney. Thirty-one-year-old Ebony Jefferson was playing cards at her aunt's house Tuesday night when someone walked up and threatened them. Family members told him to leave. Police said he started to walk away, then turned and fired. Jefferson later died at a hospital. Her mother, 55-year-old Lorena Jefferson, died July 13 from breast cancer.
