Rondinelli Tuxedo reaches semis with 10-3 thumping of Livi Steel

Published:Sunday, July 20, 2008 STRUTHERS — Rondinelli Tuxedo clinched a spot in today’s semifinals of the NABF Junior regional tournament by defeating Livi Steel, 10-3. Today on Cene 1, Rondinelli plays Astro Falcons at 12:30 p.m. while Columbus Big Katz will be facing Andy’s 9ers on Cene 2. Katz and Astros both finished 3-1 in pool play, but Katz prevailed per NABF rules. Rondinelli won Pool A while Astro finished second in Pool B. Katz won Pool B while Andys 9ers was A runner-up. The championship game is at 3 p.m. The winner advances to the NABF Junior World Series in Northville, Mich., starting July 24.
