New retail, restaurants coming to Kingsport Pavilion

And Ulta Beauty’s new store there is almost stocked and is set to have a grand opening July 25. Cardon Smith, vice president of Pavilion developer Merchants Holding Co. LLC, said another retailer almost has finalized plans for a Pavilion outparcel in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods, and he is working with two restaurants to take outparcels, too. Those are among the most recent developments at the Pavilion, which opened last year with anchors Kohl’s and Target on the old Mason-Dixon trucking terminal site just east of Lowe’s Home Improvements in the 2600 block of East Stone Drive. “We’ll start the building next to Dick’s at the end of August and finish up phase one,” Smith said.
