Valentino Rossi just wants to be an ordinary superstar

The world's greatest motorcycle racer jumped into a Ferrari race car two years ago and drove a few laps, testing only a second slower than Formula One legend Michael Schumacher. That got him an invitation, he says, to change sports and drive for the legendary Italian car company. Valentino Rossi said no. "I don't like being famous. It is like a prison," he said. "And driving for Ferrari would make it far worse." Fame is a curse/blessing that comes with being young, rich, charismatic and supernaturally talented in a sport that is popular all over the world.
