It’s a track he once competed on during his Winston Cup career and a place he competed on head-to-head with local favorite Darrell Waltrip. But his return to the track, now known as Music City Motorplex, wasn’t one he may want to remember. Marcis, 67, finished seventh in the No. 43 car with a vintage Richard Petty paint scheme in the Old School Racing 30-lap race that kicked off the Motorplex’s 50-year anniversary of paved racing. “The last time I ran here was in 1984,” Marcis said. “It’s been a while.
