Shower-On Tanner Promises Even Glow Without Sun

CHICAGO (CBS) ― We all want that summer glow and there are plenty of tanning products that promise to deliver, without getting out in the sun. Exposure to the sun's harmful rays has many looking towards a bottle tan for that natural glow, though self-tanners come with their own drawbacks. "I didn't want people to have to wait around and to feel sticky and to wait to see if they were going to turn orange or a false color," said Diana Barton. So Barton developed a shower-on tanner that promises an even tan. All you have to do is add water. "It's three easy steps, works in the shower. Use it when your skin is wet, rinse it off with no soap, hop out pat dry, and you're tan," Barton said. The tanner is a water-activated sugar protein that works on the surface of your skin.
