Collier County sheriff’s deputies are on the lookout for a teenager who they say shot a gun in the air and then struck another teen in the face with a gun. The two teens, one 15 the other 18 or 19, had an altercation a couple of months ago, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Karie Partington said. The two teens had another confrontation today along U.S. 41 East near Shadowlawn Drive. "Today, in the back parking of Long John Silvers, they met again," Partington said. "The suspect fired one shot into the air and then hit the victim with the gun." Deputies arrived at the scene and found the 15-year-old with a cut lip. He was transported to NCH Downtown Naples Hospital at his own request, treated and released, Partington said. Authorities are still on the lookout for the other teen.
