Published: Friday, July 18, 2008 2:47 p.m. MDT Deron Williams, as expected, officially put pen to paper on Friday to extend his services for the Utah Jazz Jazz general manager, Kevin O'Connor, announced today that the team has signed a multi-year contract extension with the star point guard. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not released by the Jazz, but sources indicate it is a three-year deal with an option for a fourth season for the NBA maximum that would earn Williams about $70 million. "Continuing to lead the Jazz on the court is exactly what I want to do," said Williams. "I am confident in the Miller family's commitment to the franchise and appreciate their confidence in me.
