By Anthony Elghossain Daily Star staff Saturday, July 19, 2008 BEIRUT: Lebanese political leaders on Friday turned their attention toward the drafting of a ministerial statement for a newly formed national-unity government, with ministers across the board expressing hope that a platform can be put together quickly after a 40-day state of limbo in the country came to an end. The Central News Agency (CNA) reported Friday that sources close to the new Cabinet said members of the ministerial statement committee were confident that a platform could be cobbled together "a week from the coming Sunday before being announced publicly the following day."
