STUDENTS of Marcellin Primary School in Suva were among children from 180 schools who celebrated National Tooth Brushing Day yesterday. A total of 65,000 toothbrushes were handed out to mark the celebrations. Colgate marketing manager Suma Molia said 180 schools and 60 organisations participated in the event, totalling 65,000 people, 55,000 short of their target. Colgate handed out free toothbrushes and paste. The initiative was supported by the Ministry for Health and Fiji Dental Association. Westpac Bank management, staff and customers at the main branch in Suva also participated in the Colgate National Tooth Brushing Day.
