Natrona library tax heads to County Commission

Associated Press - July 18, 2008 1:25 PM ET CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A proposed sixth-cent sales tax to build a new Natrona County Public Library heads to the County Commission after winning approval from four municipalities. The town and city councils in Casper, Evansville, Mills and Bar Nunn have signed off on the proposal. If the issue clears the Natrona County Commission, it will go before voters this fall. Library Director Bill Nelson says a new library is needed because the existing building doesn't have enough meeting space and parking space.
