Football Plays Softball for Team Building; Watch It

by www.LSUsports.net BATON ROUGE -- LSU put away the weights and the off-season conditioning drills on Wednesday night as the Tigers took part in a team building exercise in the form of a slow pitch softball tournament at a local ballpark south of campus. The event, which was held for a second straight year, had the football squad being divided into eight 12-man teams. Each squad played two games with the two teams with the best record squaring off in the championship game. “The players have worked so hard this summer in the weight room, it’s nice to be able to get away for a few hours and enjoy a team function outside of football,” LSU coach Les Miles said. “It’s fun to watch.
