California Employment Report: Employee Confidence Index Drops; Fewer Workers Confident About Their Personal Employment Situation LOS ANGELES, July 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The California Employee Confidence Index dropped 5.8 points to 40.4 in June, reaching a new survey low, according to the latest Spherion(R) Employment Report. The monthly survey of California workers, conducted by Harris Interactive(R) on behalf of Spherion Corporation, shows that although more workers feel uncertain about their personal employment situation, one-third (33 percent) of workers are likely to look for a new job in the next year.
