Former north state resident co-stars in TV's Date My Ex'

Molly Rupert, Contributing writer Katy Metz may have to issue a few apologies after her reality TV show debuts Monday. "I would forget the cameras were there and then think, Oh, no. Sorry Grandma. I didn't mean to say that word,'" Metz said during a recent phone interview from her home in Southern California. "I hope certain things get edited out of the show." OK, so it's not Metz's TV show; it's really about her best friend, Jo De La Rosa. But Metz plays De La Rosa's best friend -- not a tough role for her -- in Bravo TV's "Date My Ex," a reality show based on De La Rosa's search for the perfect man.
