Gooden Blog Entry #1: Made it to Croatia

NIU volleyball head coach Ray Gooden details his experience at the Global Challenge 2008 Gooden is one of the main coaches for Bring It!, who are one of 18 teams in the Global Challenge 2008. I made it! Trying to hold on so that I can have a good night's sleep. I left Chicago Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and arrived in Zagreb, Croatia by way of Frankfrurt Germany at 2 p.m. local time (5:30 a.m. Chicago). I was picked up from the airport and driven to Slovenia where we ate and then had a training session for 1.5 hours. We showered, ate again and are now trying to stay awake until 11 p.m. local to get a good nights sleep.
