THE Talisman Energy oil-spill saga continues apace. As reported in last Friday's John O'Groat Journal, Broadhaven residents have complained that the company, who admitted responsibility for the spill, are not doing enough to clear up the mess they have made. Talisman insists that they have acted responsibly. advertising A company spokesman said that "All relevant authorities have expressed their satisfaction at the work completed so far." But, not, it would seems at Broadhaven, which the Highland Council recently visited to see for themselves what, if anything, was happening. Talisman Energy is one of the largest independent petroleum companies in Canada.
