Tech education takes a Kerala-Nagaland route

The unique Nagaland-Kerala Education Grid Link has already kindled the hopes of Nagland’s population THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, INDIA: In a significant step towards marrying technology with education initiatives, two states separated by many a geographical boundary have been linked together due to the efforts of two different centers of learning. The Thiruvananthapuram-based Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Kerala (IIITM-K) and the Nagaland University almost hoped for the impossible when a memorandum of understanding was inked between the two in January 2007.
