The company, formed just 12 years ago, has invested $100 million in the state and now has about 3,000 route miles of fiber, 100,000 customer lines and 250 employees, said David Armentrout, FiberNet's chief operating officer. In a wide-ranging interview, Armentrout revealed that the company has expanded its offices on Greenbrier Street, is upgrading its equipment, and is offering fiber-to-the-business broadband service to companies in its service territory.
