Doctors' offices become the next art gallery

Central Louisiana Arts and Healthcare has made great strides in changing hospitals and doctor's office waiting rooms. Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Specialists in Alexandria is the latest healthcare facility to turn bare walls into art space. Alexandria artist Patty Gamburg is the first to work displayed at OSMS, where it will hang for two months before rotating out. Her "Reflections of the Soul" collection hangs alongside separate pieces including one titled "DNA" and another titled "Digging Up Bones." The latter, appropriately, is a skeleton.
