KUWAIT, July 17 (KUNA) -- Finance Minister Mostafa Al-Shimali and s Japanese counterpart Nukaga Fukushiro asserted here on Thursday the depth of ties between the two countries at all levels. A Finance Ministry statement said that Al-Shimali and Fukushiro exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in various economic fields. He emphasized his appreciation for the Japanese minister's visit and his meetings with government officials, recalling the historic visit by His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Tokyo in 2004, which paved the way for further bilateral cooperation.
