Book signing for Jacobson: BOOK SIGNING

Longtime retailer and new author Ira Jacobson will be signing copies of his book, "A Quest For Excellence," tonight at a West Long Branch bookstore. Subtitled "The Incredible Story of the Most Beautiful Store in the World" (R & J Press, $24.95), Jacobson's book relates the story of Brielle Galleries, which Jacobson built and owned from 1950 to 1996. Interspersed throughout the chapters, which are organized by subject matter rather than strictly chronological, are "Ira's Business Rules," brief insights on running a retail business.
