Iguodala chosen for select team

By MARTIN FRANK • The News Journal • July 17, 2008 Andre Iguodala might not have the new contract that he has been seeking yet, but he does have a spot on the USA Basketball Men's Select Team that will scrimmage against the national team as it prepares for the Summer Olympics. Iguodala, a 76ers guard/forward, was one of 10 young NBA players picked to begin training with the team in Las Vegas on Sunday. The select team will then practice with and scrimmage against the national team until July 24. The national team will play the Canadian team, featuring 76ers forward Samuel Dalembert, in an exhibition the next night in Las Vegas before leaving for China.
